Hidden Neighborhood Gems

Hidden Neighborhood Gems

Living in Denver has its benefits, especially when it comes to the weather. Almost every day is a day you’re able to get outside and enjoy living in this beautiful playground we call home. Every so often you’re able to find amazing hidden gems, typically closer than you think. This week I wanted to highlight one of my favorite places to take my dog for a walk, Lake Arbor. Tucked away off 80th ave in Arvada its right in the middle of everything. What keeps me coming back however is how quite the lake is. It’s never too filled with people. Perfect place to go for a run or even sit and fish all day. For you fellow exercise junkies there's an added benefit too. Along the lake is a mile long trail dotted with "exercise stations" which give you the opportunity to get a great total body HIIT workout in while enjoying the beautiful scenery. I always love to walk the surrounding neighborhood too. The homes are amazing. Quite unique in their designs and the people you meet are incredibly nice.  I always tell myself if I see the opportunity to buy a home around here to take the chance and go for it. Growing up in Minnesota, living near a lake meant selling an arm and a leg for the opportunity. I was quite surprised at how affordable the area surrounding the lake is! Here we're seeing homes range from the low 300’s to the mid 400’s and becoming more desirable by the day.  If you’ve never had a chance to check out Lake Arbor and the surrounding community please do yourself a favor and check it out!! If you ever need a guide I would be happy to help 😊
